Dr. Amanda Deasy is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained medical retina specialist at Dominion Eye Associates. A native of Alabama, she earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee, where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi. Dr. Deasy completed her medical internship and ophthalmology residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, serving as Chief Resident, then pursued a medical retina fellowship in Orlando through the VA Medical Center in affiliation with the University of Central Florida School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery, general ophthalmology, cosmetic in-office procedures, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vascular disease.
