Dahlia Haddad, OD

Dr. Dahlia Haddad earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011 and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 2016. During optometry school, she received multiple academic and clinical honors, including the Clinical Excellence Award, Vision Service Plan Scholarship, Third-Year Clinical Skills Award, and Second-Year Clinical Skills Award. Outside of work, Dr. Haddad enjoys spending time with family, cooking, running, and training for half marathons. As a consultative optometrist, this role includes detailed evaluation, medical eye care, surgical co-management, and communication with referring providers when specialty treatment is needed. The consultative model supports continuity of care by coordinating diagnosis, treatment recommendations, perioperative management, and follow-up with the patient’s broader eye care team. This approach allows complex ocular findings to be evaluated in a specialty setting while maintaining close communication with referring optometrists and ophthalmologists. Her care emphasizes thorough evaluation, clear patient education, and treatment planning tailored to the individual’s ocular findings and visual needs.
