Eric Larios, OD, FAAO
Dr. Eric Larios earned a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. After working briefly in the solar industry, he returned to UC Berkeley to earn his Doctor of Optometry, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors and being selected as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow for his commitment to service and community impact. He completed an ocular disease residency at the White River Junction VA in Vermont, where he developed advanced experience managing complex eye conditions. A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Larios has practiced in the Nashville area since 2017. His clinical experience includes glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and other ocular conditions, with an emphasis on compassionate, comprehensive care. Patient education is an important part of care, with emphasis on explaining findings, treatment options, expected follow-up, and signs that warrant additional evaluation. Clinical management is tailored to the individual patient, taking into account ocular findings, symptoms, medical history, and the need for ongoing specialty care.
