Jalen T. Cook, OD

Dr. Jalen T. Cook is an optometrist with Mountain Empire Eye Physicians, serving patients in Bristol and the surrounding region. A native of Bristol, Tennessee, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University, graduating magna cum laude while completing his pre-optometry coursework. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville. During his training, Dr. Cook gained experience in specialty contact lenses, including RGP and scleral lenses, low vision, dry eye disease, and pediatric optometry. He is board-certified by the National Board of Optometry and brings a hometown commitment to comprehensive eye care, patient education, and long-term vision health. Dr. Cook is proud to care for patients and families in the community where he grew up.
