Jessica LeSueur, OD

Dr. Jessica (Jarvis) LeSueur graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville in 2008 and earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2013. She graduated with academic honors and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Her academic and clinical recognition also included the Dr. Lester Caplan/CIBA Vision Corporation Scholarship and the UAB School of Optometry Jess Boyd Eskridge Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding patient care. Clinical management is tailored to the individual patient, taking into account ocular findings, symptoms, medical history, and the need for ongoing specialty care. Her care emphasizes thorough evaluation, clear patient education, and treatment planning tailored to the individual’s ocular findings and visual needs. She works to provide coordinated care from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, with attention to both immediate concerns and long-term eye health. As a consultative optometrist, this role includes detailed evaluation, medical eye care, surgical co-management, and communication with referring providers when specialty treatment is needed.
