Kristin B. Madonia, MD

Dr. Kristin Madonia specializes in neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic plastic surgery, reconstructive eyelid surgery, and orbital surgery. Her practice addresses conditions involving the eyelids, orbit, optic nerve, and the neurologic pathways that affect vision. Her scope of care includes eyelid malignancies, thyroid eye disease and other orbital inflammation, optic nerve disorders, pseudotumor cerebri, ptosis, and cosmetic concerns. She also performs non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including Botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Madonia is a published researcher and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Her oculoplastic practice addresses both functional and reconstructive concerns involving the eyelids, orbit, tear drainage system, and surrounding facial structures. Treatment plans are developed with attention to ocular protection, comfort, visual function, facial symmetry, and the specific anatomy involved. She evaluates each condition individually to determine whether observation, office-based treatment, surgery, or coordinated specialty care is most appropriate. The goal of care is to restore or protect function while also considering appearance when eyelid or periocular conditions affect both.
