Kurt DeVito, OD

Dr. Kurt DeVito is an experienced optometrist serving patients through Mid-Atlantic Eyecare and DeVito & Martin Optometry in Virginia Beach. A graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry, Dr. DeVito began his optometric career in the U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps, where he led the submarine contact lens program for the Norfolk area. He also served overseas in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, with Fleet Hospital Five during Operation Desert Storm before entering private practice in 1991. Dr. DeVito specializes in contact lenses, children’s vision care, ocular disease, primary eye care, and glaucoma treatment. He is active in the Tidewater Optometric Society, Virginia Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association. Patients value his deep experience, practical clinical judgment, and commitment to family eye care.
