Melissa Gill, PA-C, DMSc
Melissa Gill, PA-C, DMSc, is a highly trained physician assistant at Harman Eye Center with advanced doctoral education and broad clinical experience in both primary and specialty care. She earned her Doctor of Medical Science and Master of Physician Assistant Medicine from the University of Lynchburg, following a Master of Arts in English. Her doctoral training includes health law, disaster medicine, and healthcare administration. Melissa’s clinical background includes family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, emergency medicine, general surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, pulmonology, wound care, anesthesia, urgent care, pain management, and emergency department ultrasound. With prior experience as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Harman Eye Center, she brings hands-on expertise in visual acuity testing, refraction, glaucoma and cataract testing, patient assessment, and surgical support.
