Shae Steward, MD
Dr. Shae Steward is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive eye care. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University, graduating magna cum laude, and completed her Doctor of Medicine at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She then completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Steward performs cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation and provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of eye conditions. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, crafting, reading, decorating, hiking, traveling, and church activities. She works to provide coordinated care from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, with attention to both immediate concerns and long-term eye health. Her approach to cataract care combines detailed preoperative evaluation, individualized lens planning, precise surgery, and coordinated postoperative follow-up.
