Sinead E. Flood, OD, FAAO
Dr. Sinead Flood brings advanced training in ocular disease and a broad background in complex eye care. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwestern University and her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry, then completed an ocular disease residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute in affiliation with The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her clinical training includes management of glaucoma, retinal disease, neuro-ophthalmic conditions, and refractive surgery patients. Dr. Flood is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is affiliated with the American Board of Optometry. She has presented research and case reports at major professional meetings and has been active in community service, international medical missions, Special Olympics Indiana, and Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. Her honors include the James L. Short, O.D. & Patricia L. Short Award and membership in the Gold Key Honors Society. Her care emphasizes thorough evaluation, clear patient education, and treatment planning tailored to the individual’s ocular findings and visual needs.
